Between 20 he has put out either an album or a mixtape. People may poke fun at many “shortcomings” of Wale, but one thing you cannot fault him with is his work ethic. It’s cool when you watch dreams come true right before your eyes, right? Especially if it’s your favourite rapper. Fast forward five years later and you get Wale with a number 1 album featuring Jerry Seinfeld himself in the flesh. More About Nothing was much like the previous offering, in a sense that Wale was still incorporating Seinfeld clips to his songs. He bounced back with a mixtape called “ More About Nothing” and this was enough to capture the attention of rap mogul, MMG boss, Rick Ross. Things did not go as planned, long story short: he left Interscope after just releasing one album, his debut album “ Attention Deficit”. That project landed him a record deal with Interscope and the world was introduced to Wale. Seven years ago Wale released a mixtape called “ The Mixtape About Nothing” which featured audio extracts from the classic sitcom “ Seinfeld”.
